Privacy Policy

Last updated: 18 May 2026

1. Who we are

Pulse is a Shopify store audit service. We help store owners identify issues costing them sales by running automated audits and delivering actionable reports. When this policy says "Pulse", "we", "us", or "our", we mean the Pulse service and its operator.

2. What data we collect

We collect only what we need to deliver the audit:

  • Store URL. The URL of your Shopify store, used to run the audit.
  • Email address. Used to deliver your audit report and, if you subscribe, to send periodic insights.
  • Store data observed during the audit. Our agent reads publicly visible content on your store — page text, images, app-generated elements, and performance metrics — in the same way any visitor would. We do not access your Shopify admin, order data, or customer data.
  • Behavioural tracking data (subscription only). If you install our optional tracking script, we collect anonymised visitor behaviour on your store: page views, scroll depth, click events, and search queries. No personally identifiable visitor data is collected.

3. How we use your data

  • To run your audit and generate your report.
  • To deliver your report and any follow-up insights to your inbox.
  • To improve our audit accuracy using aggregated, anonymised findings across stores.
  • To contact you about your audit if something needs clarification.

We do not sell your data. We do not use your data to train AI models for third parties.

4. Data retention

Audit reports are retained for 90 days. After that, the report and associated store data are deleted. Your email address is retained for as long as you remain a customer or subscriber. You can request deletion at any time by emailing us.

5. Third-party services

We use the following third-party services to operate Pulse:

  • Vercel. Hosting and infrastructure. Your data may transit Vercel's servers.
  • Email delivery provider. Used to send audit reports to your inbox.

Each of these providers is contractually required to handle your data in accordance with applicable privacy law.

6. Cookies

Pulse uses a single functional cookie to remember your theme preference (light or dark). This cookie contains no personal information and is not used for tracking or advertising. No third-party tracking cookies are set by our website.

7. Your rights

You have the right to:

  • Access the data we hold about you.
  • Request correction of inaccurate data.
  • Request deletion of your data.
  • Opt out of any marketing emails at any time using the unsubscribe link in any email we send.

To exercise any of these rights, email us at the address below.

8. Contact

Questions about this policy or your data? Email us at hello@pulsehq.co. We aim to respond within 2 business days.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of Pulse after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
